A Windows Server Standard licence covers one physical server (up to 16 cores) and two virtual instances on that host.
Are CALs included?
No. Client Access Licences (user or device CALs) are licensed separately, according to how many users or devices connect to the server.
Can I use the key for a clean install?
Yes. Install from the official ISO, choose the Standard edition (Desktop Experience or Core) and enter the key when prompted.
