Product Warranty

At WOW SOFT (wow-soft.eu), we are committed to providing software products that match the description displayed on the website and are functional at the time of delivery. As a consumer, you first of all benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by law (section 1). In addition, we offer a voluntary 30-day commercial guarantee (sections 2 to 8), which is added to your statutory rights and does not replace them.

1. Legal guarantee of conformity

For every product bought on wow-soft.eu, consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under Directive (EU) 2019/770, as transposed into the national law of their country of residence. We are liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within at least 2 years of delivery, or within a longer period where national law provides so.

In the event of a lack of conformity you are entitled, free of charge, to have the product brought into conformity (for example by replacing the licence key) or, if this is impossible, is not done within a reasonable time or the lack of conformity is serious, to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract and obtain a refund.

The legal guarantee applies regardless of the commercial guarantee below and regardless of whether the product has already been activated. It cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

2. Additional commercial guarantee (30 days)

For Microsoft refurbished products sold on the website, the commercial warranty offered is 30 calendar days, calculated from the date the customer receives the product.

This warranty covers only the aspects expressly mentioned in this policy, depending on the category of the purchased product.

This commercial guarantee is a voluntary, additional commitment by WOW SOFT. It does not limit, replace or affect your statutory rights, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity (section 1), which continue to apply after the product has been activated and after the 30 days have passed.

3. Warranty Depending on Product Type

3.1. Office Software Licenses – Refurbished

For Microsoft Office Refurbished software licenses, the warranty period is 30 calendar days from the date the product is received.

For these products:

• a single activation of the license is guaranteed;
• the warranty covers the functionality of the activation code/key at the time of initial use;
• after a successful activation, our commercial guarantee for the delivered key is fulfilled; the legal guarantee of conformity (section 1) continues to apply.

3.2. Office Software Licenses Associated with a Microsoft Account

For Office software licenses linked to a Microsoft account, the warranty period is 30 calendar days from the date the product is received.

For these products:

• license reactivation is guaranteed, where applicable;
• license transfer is guaranteed, if the product allows this according to the type of license delivered;
• the warranty applies to the functionality of the license in relation to activation and use within the parameters specific to the purchased product type.

3.3. Windows Software Licenses – Refurbished or OEM

For Microsoft Windows Refurbished or OEM software licenses, the warranty period is 30 calendar days from the date the product is received.

For these products:

• license reactivation is guaranteed, if necessary;
• license transfer is guaranteed, to the extent permitted by the nature of the license provided;
• the warranty covers the functionality of the activation key and the possibility of using the product according to the characteristics of the delivered item.

4. What the commercial guarantee covers

The warranty provided by WOW SOFT covers, where applicable:

• the validity of the activation key/code at the time of delivery;
• the ability to complete the initial activation of the product;
• license reactivation or transfer, only for products for which this is expressly mentioned in this policy;
• replacement of a non-functional product or remedy of the issue, if the problem is confirmed and is not attributable to the customer.

5. What the commercial guarantee does not cover

The warranty does not cover:

• errors caused by incorrect installation;
• incompatibilities related to the customer’s system;
• use of the product contrary to the instructions provided;
• changes made to the operating system or the account used that affect activation;
• inability to use the product for external reasons unrelated to the delivered product;
• the continued functioning of the software beyond the limits expressly guaranteed for the purchased license type.

For simple Office Refurbished licences, the commercial guarantee is limited to one successful activation, according to the product type. These limits and exclusions apply only to the commercial guarantee; they do not affect the legal guarantee of conformity.

6. Complaint Procedure

If you encounter a problem related to the activation or functionality of the product, whether under the legal guarantee of conformity or during the commercial guarantee period, please send your complaint to our support team at:

In order to resolve the request quickly, we may need you to provide:

• the order number;
• a clear description of the issue;
• screenshots of the displayed error messages;
• the steps performed during the installation/activation process;
• any other technical information relevant for verification.

If the evidence required for analysis is not provided, the request may be rejected if the reported issue cannot be confirmed.

7. Resolution of Complaints

After reviewing the information provided, WOW SOFT may offer, where applicable:

• activation assistance;
• license reactivation;
• replacement of the product;
• another reasonable commercial solution, depending on the specific situation.

The complaint will be handled within a reasonable period from the moment all information necessary for verification has been received.

8. Final Provisions

By placing an order on wow-soft.eu, the customer confirms that they have read this policy and understand that the commercial guarantee differs depending on the type of product purchased. The legal guarantee of conformity applies to all products in every case.
